Inhaca Island Fly Fishing Safari

Destination: Santa Maria Peninsular/Inhaca Island, Mozambique

Season: Feb - May

Duration: Seven days

Accommodation: Comfortable en suite Meru tents nestled unobtrusively in the pristine dune forest of the Santa Maria Peninsular.

Angling (species and methods): Numerous kingfish species, queen fish, king mackerel, sailfish, dorado, kakaap, and wahoo amongst a host of reef species. All off shore fishing is over productive reefs suitable to fly fishing. The use of GPS and echo sounders ensures accurate and productive drifts.

Pick up and drop off point: Durban or Maputo (if not self drive)

Other activities: World Class snorkelling in the Inhaca Marine Sanctuary, scuba diving can be organised on request, game drives and nature walks in the close by Maputo elephant reserve.
