5 Day Mabibi Getaway

Day 1: Durban to Mabibi Camp via Lake Sibaya
Pick up at Durban, time to be finalised. Vehicle transfer via Lake Sibaya to Mabibi Camp. Lunch will be own expense today. Settle in and camp orientation. Flexible beach time (relaxing, snorkelling, fishing etc). D

Day 2: Mabibi Flexi Programme
Today you will have full day at the beach. Time can be spent as you please fishing and snorkelling (off the fishing skis or conventionally), walking the dune forest, beach walks etc. Nature walk and sundowners on Lake Sibaya. BLD

Day 3: Thembe Elephant Park
This morning we leave Mabibi Campsite and head north to Thembe Elephant Park. On arrival we will enjoy a game drive and a picnic brunch at one of the Parks rest camps. Arrive back at Mabibi Camp early afternoon, to spent the rest of the day as you wish. BLD

Day 4: Mabibi Flexi Programme
The first half of today will be set aside for the beach. After lunch, and a rest, we will make the short drive to the shores of Lake Sibaya where you can enjoy a relaxing and tranquil paddle on the Lake - great bird viewing opportunities. Sundowners on the lake and return to camp for supper. BLD

Day 5: Mabibi to Durban
Depending on time of departure you will be able to fit in some early morning activities. Transfer back to Durban. B

Note: As you can see this itinerary is very flexible, activities and planned outings (to Thembe Elephant Park, paddling, nature walks, snorkelling, sundowners etc) will take place when it best suites your group, and when the weather is favourable.

Transport from Durban. All meals where specified, fruit juice at breakfast, teas and coffees etc. All fishing licences, Park entry fees (including Sibaya and Thembe Elephant Park), transport for the duration of your trip, professional guide, accommodation, all fishing tackle and bait.
