Upper Zambezi Houseboat Tiger Safari

Destination: Pride of the Zambezi Zambezi, Zambia.

Season: June to August

Duration: Minimum 3 days

Accommodation: Luxury Mobile Houseboat.

Houseboat Details: The Pride comprises of three decks. The honeymoon suite comprises a king size bed, private lounge, dressing table, built-in cupboards, wall-to-wall carpeting and an en suite bathroom with shower, toilet, basin, bidet and shaving points. Sliding doors open on to the top deck. The suite is air conditioned and comes complete with mosquito net screens, a remote control fan, electronic safe, hair dryer, dressing gown and slippers.

The middle deck has a unique roller shutter system that enables the entire deck to be closed off at the touch of a button, either in full or separately. This deck is air conditioned, with a seating area for 12; a fully equipped bar; an entertainment area and dining room for up to 16 guests. There is also a 10 seater jacuzzi with outside seating and entertainment area.

The five state rooms are situated on the bottom deck. Each is air conditioned and can be made up as a twin or double room. All state rooms are carpeted and have a safe, fan, mosquito gauze, and built in cupboards.

Angling (species and methods): Tiger fish, numerous bream spp. (incl. nembwe), catfish and pike. Fly fishing and artificial lures are the most productive. Your professional guides will tie flies daily; all terminal tackle will be supplied.

Pick up and drop off point: Victoria Falls, Livingstone, Kasane.

Recommended optional activities: Sundowner cruises and nature walks, game cruising and cultural excursions. The world renowned Chobe Game Reserve and Victoria Falls are close by and definitely worth visiting.
