and Lionel were superb guides. The ‘value
add’ principle Tourette Fishing offers works
well as the guiding is very focussed while accommodation
is very relaxing. All other places I’ve been
to have great lodging with good boatmen who have learnt
via default. This is good if you are on holiday, but
if you are serious about the time/money spent on fishing,
only expert advice is adequate to realise the trips
expectation.
Keep up the great work, and I’ll continue to
spread the good word for you.

Lionel was first
class – the keenest guide we have ever
had. Lionel was not only an excellent fishing guide,
but very knowledgeable on bird life, and indeed on
Okavango fauna and flora in general - very hardworking
at putting us onto fish from breakfast-time (and even
before) until dusk. We would definitely be interested
in going with him again.

RE: Tourette
Fishing Recommendation
We cannot talk highly enough of Keith Clover at Tourette
Fishing. My wife and I and our three teenage children
have been on many trips with him and his partner Rob
Scott. Their particular talent is to structure a trip
to satisfy a clients needs and budget. All you have
to do is give him this and they will do the necessary.
They are extremely expert in their knowledge and ability
to arrange tailor made trips. Being both university
graduates, they can put a trip together to satisfy
your particular needs extremely well.

Keith…..Just shows, you can drive all
the way back and get an e-mail out to us
in one breath, not bad. You were an excellent guide
and
teacher. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward
to our next fishing
adventure with Tourette Fishing.

Tourette Fishing
specialises in creating a truly great experience,
be it for families, "Dad and son" (which
he has done many of) or, like us, a party of twelve
- please don't hold me (or him) to the price per person
which I mentioned for our trip, Keith will always
give you value for money, so much so that I will pay
whatever his asking price is for our next trip, without
question!! And I look forward to it!

It has been difficult
catching up on all of our looose ends from the trip...
which let me say... was absolutely spectacular!
The Seychelles was great, I did hook a milkfish and
we had tremendous fun attempting to land BIG G.T.s
(bone fishing was just plane silly.) In retrospect
the portion of our trip that was the absolute best,
and I am even comparing all the trips we have ever
been on, was the part we spent with you. Africa and
the fly fishing was awesome, we will be back!

Dear Keith,
Once again thank you from all of us for the experience
that the Tourette Fishing team gave us. Everyone had
a great time. Please email any photos that you or
George took which I can download and get printed.
In closing, once again well done in the professional
way that you run our fishing tour and I sincerely
hope that we gave you as much fun from our loony lot.

..you have delivered
a great experience that we will all keep in our memories
of a lifetime. Hopefully, we will be able
to repeat the trip somewhere else with your great
company...in Mozambique maybe?
All the best and lots of success in 2006
God Bless

Hello! Just like
to say I really really enjoyed my time with you guys!
It was the best decision I made. I have spread
the word already about you and have purchased a couple
of magazines with your articles!
Keith, I have seen the devastating effects of fly
, thus can you recommend me a good reel and rod to
start off with?
Kind Regards

Vernon’s
News Letter – Travel Talk:
I am on a high! WHAT a trip to Lake Kariba and the
Victoria Falls.
My PERCEPTIONS were CHANGED!....and when it comes
to geography, dear friends, then let me assure you
that Lake Kariba takes some beating. This splendid
expanse of water is enhanced by mountain ranges, a
Big 5 game reserve, unbelievable bird-watching, fishing
and a wonderful isolation from humanity…..
In the morning, Brett insists I go with him...and
that's when Keith helps me land a huge tiger in the
Sengwe River. My catch was the biggest...6.5 kg...it's
a snitch for any old fool, when an amazing young fishing
expert called Keith is on hand to guide one's every
move.
Keith is just 26, but he already owns his own fish
safari outfit, Tourette Fishing. He takes fishing
fundis on expeditions to rivers and the sea, and he's
doing very well for himself indeed. He's a splendid
young fellow, with the right attitude, an amazing
ability to deal with people, has obvious business
acumen, and he'll teach you to catch tiger with a
fly...nogal! The man has passion...the essence of
business!

Hi Keith
I thoroughly enjoyed the trip down the Zambezi with
you. You really made the trip special with all your
background knowledge of the whole river and its moods.
Think we got it right for our trip. We certainly caught
enough fish and we learnt a lot. That is the essence
of any fishing trip like this. Your format was perfect
for me.

Hello Keith and
Rob- Very nice to have your e-mail message waiting
for us upon our return from a wonderful first visit
to Africa. I have been reviewing photos of
the trip, and I am still amazed at what Terry and
I did in those four weeks. Our time spent with you
and Rob was especially memorable, and I very much
hope to fish with you both again someday. I would
happily do the same trip all over again…
Our Okavango experience was excellent- Lionel is
an enjoyable entertainer, story teller, and fly fisher.
A highlight was the over night camp out, which we
would gladly have done again if time had allowed.
I would very much appreciate receiving a copy of the
photos that Rob took. He has a nice eye for photography,
and took some photos of tigerfish head on that I
especially liked. He also has a late evening photo
of my last tiger fish- my best fish of the trip and
on my last cast of the trip on the Okavango. Also
mention that Terry's bird list passed the 100 mark.
I want to thank you for your efforts in putting together
this trip. Travel logistics and lodging arrangements
went smoothly, boats and equipment were excellent
to fish from, local guides were knowledgeable and
accommodating. Rob is a superb guide, and had I the
opportunity to fish more with you I'm sure I would
have found you to be the same. Terry found her experience
as a non-fisher to be a joy as much as I did.
