If yesterdays perfect conditions and good fishing were used as a yardstick, we definitely surpassed it today. We managed to get on the water as it was getting light, in near perfect conditions. Although the fishing was technical, and the fish tended to be spooky, we managed to figure the yellows out. CDC caddis was the name of the game, and once we switched to these, the fish couldn’t refuse them.
In our short session, all for anglers managed to bring a number of quality fish to the net. Certainly a great end to an awesome couple of days. Watch out for May issue of Country Life Magazine for a write up on the destination.
